A simple life changing Cataract operation...
Millions of people in the world, especially those in developing countries, suffer from one of a number of eye problems including cataracts. A simple operation can cure these conditions and can transform their lives, by allowing them to regain normal sight and therefore, their own independence..... and most of all their self respect and dignity.
Donating Alms
Donating alms is the best form of dharma. There is nothing that betters such act. A person who donates is blessed in this and later lives. This type of act is known as dana.
Danas are classified as four types: Nitya dana is the one when it is done to a brahmanas without expecting any reward. Second one is known as naimittika dana when donations are made as penance or to take care of ill omens. Third one is known as kamya dana done to attain childrens, victory or wealth and the fourth one is called Vimala dana donations made simply to please God.
Restoring sight through eye camps...
Every month, Sai Sruti organises eye camps across India, such as the one seen above. Between 100-250 people from all ages including children are given FREE treatment during each Eye Camp held. In addition, we also supply free prescription glasses for those who cannot afford to pay for them. Each Eye Camp held in Villages requires help and support from local community but the funding comes from International community of generous hearted individuals.
SAI GAUMAATA SEVA KENDRA MARALA
Saisruti has opened a Cow Care Centre at Marala Post Limbasi Dist Kheda Taluka Matar Gujarat India where all abandoned and sick cows are being given shelter and medical care-cost of caring a cow per day is Stg.£3 - over 200 cows are under our care. Any person can adopt a cow or contribute desired sum towards Sai projects conducted by saisruti.

- DENTAL CAMPS ( EXTRACTIONS, DENTURES, BRIDGES, IMPLANTS, BRACES, GUM TREATMENT AND PREVENTATIVE CARE ETC)
- SKILLS TRAINING (DRIVING, TAILORING, COMPUTING, COOKING ETC)
- NARAYAN SEVA FEEDING UNDER PRIVILEGED, DISTRIBUTING CLOTHINGS LIKE SWEATERS, BLANKETS ETC
- MEDICAL SURGERY CAMPS EDUCATIONAL AIDS ( ADOPTED FOUR PRIMARY SCHOOLS TAKING CARE OF ALL THEIR NEEDS)
- COW CARE CENTRE LOOKING AFTER OLD, SICK AND ABANDONED COWS. INAUGURATED ON 23/11/2009.
RENOVATIONS AND EDUCARE SAISRUTI IS ALSO ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN HELPING TO RENOVATE THE SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND SUPPLY EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES SUCH AS COMPUTERS, BOOKS, SCHOOL UNIFORMS ETC ETCIf you or any one you know wishes to associate and help with SAI SEVA including Eye Camps, we welcome you to join in the above seva projects through sponsorship -we serve on voluntary basis without any admin cost through our Registered Charity Saisruti Charitable Trust Reg. Annual Report from Sai Sruti Seva Wing
Sai Sruti wish to thank you for all your sponsorship in 2010-2011. Through various seva projects we have brought a smile on many less fortunate people and we hope to continue this through your continued support during 2012. Some of the key achievements and successes of last year are as follows:-
We treated 687 persons through Cornea and Refractive Surgery, 439 Cataract and Glaucoma surgery, 187 persons were treated for Retinal Vascular Disease, supplied 1313 Reading Glasses and distributed medicine to 2442 persons for Eye Care related problems.
Fitted 491 Dentures and carried out 731 Tooth Extractions and treated 589 people for Gum related disease.
Carried out 5 breast cancer surgery and given medical treatments to 562 patients through Gynaecology Camps.
83 Villages were given Fresh Drinking water through Bore Well. Almost 200,000 people will now get Fresh water.
32321 children were fed through Narayan Seva and 1800 children have been given educational support.
46 Families in slum areas are given monthly food supplies.
185 Ladies passed their exams in Tailoring and further 300 students are presently attending Tailoring classes.
25 Sewing Machines were Gifted to widows who have passed their Tailoring Exam.
35 people passed their Driving Test and further 22 students are receiving driving lessons.
380 old and abandoned cows are now given full care and shelter at Sai Gau Seva Kendra in Gujarat. Almost 500 Cows were rescued from slaughtering.

- Dental Camps Sterling £750 to £1, 000 (Denture costs £15 to £20 - one can sponsor as many Dentures as one wishes)
- Bore Well complete with Hand Pump cost
Sterling £400 to Stg. £800 depending on each area. - Narayan Seva – One Meal per child cost between 30 Pence to 40 Pence depending on the meal. One can sponsor as many meal as one wishes.
- Educare - sponsor a child for as little as £.1.50 a month or adopt at £.6.50 per month.
