The Saisruti Trust is involved in a number of voluntary-service activities including providing fresh drinking water to villages, eye camps to provide glasses, laser surgery and medication and dental camps.  Undertakes projects to feed the poor (Narayan Seva) and provide clothing such as sweaters and blankets takes place on a regular basis.  The Saisruti is also running a cow sanctuary giving home to abandoned and sick cows. The Trust also works to provide skills to people in rural villages to enable them to be trained in areas such as driving, tailoring, computing, cooking etc, so they may take up gainful employment to help them, their family and the villagers.

 
 

VOCATIONAL TRAINING - TAILORING COURSE

The tailoring course is specially selected after consulting lot of people in the villages where there is a need for such skills and all who complete the course will be able to earn good wage and thereby raise their living standard.

The project is financed by Dr. Mohan Makhija of USA in memory of Mr.Chhugomal Makhija, Mrs. Bhagwanti Makhija and Mrs. Veena Ahuja. The villagers and the council are grateful for this noble and most awaited project.

The three Tailoring Centres are  (1) Rangaipura Petlad District  - Head Teacher Mrs. Binaben Purshotam Patel  (2) Anand – Head Teacher Mrs. Jaguben Shah  (3) Gambhira  -  Head Teacher Mittal Parmar.

Further 3 Centres are inaugurated in Surendranagar Saurastra on 23rd Nov 2010 sponsored by Mrs Jasuben Patel U.K.

Ten new Sewing machines are needed so as to donate to the qualified students whereby they will be able to support their families.
