:: Welcome to Sai Sruti Harrow:: Temple of Divine Grace
:: Sai Sruti Charitable Trust ::
Service to Man is Service to God... (Maanav Seva is Maadhav Seva)
The Trust is involved in a number of voluntary-service activities including providing fresh drinking water to villages, eye camps to provide glasses, laser surgery and medication and dental camps. In addition, projects to feed the poor (Narayan Seva) and provide clothing such as sweaters and blankets takes place on a regular basis. The Trust also works to provide skills to people in rural villages to enable them to become better trained in areas such as driving, tailoring, computing, cooking etc, so they may take up gainful employment to help them, their family and the villagers. |

Poem by Rabinder Tagore
Go not to the temple to put flowers upon the feet of God, First fill your own house with the Fragrance of love... Go not to the temple to light candles before the altar of God, First remove the darkness of sin from your heart...
Go not to the temple to bow down your head in prayer, First learn to bow in humility before your fellowmen...
Go not to the temple to pray on bended knees, First bend down to lift someone who is down-trodden. ..
Go not to the temple to ask for forgiveness for your sins, First forgive from your heart those who have sinned against you. When the rains pour on the mountain peaks and the water hurries down the sides, no river emerges. However, when the water flows in a single direction, first there is a brook, then a stream, then a torrent and finally a flooded river is formed and the river merges with the sea. So too, your mind and actions must flow full and steady along the fields of holy thoughts. The hands should be used to perform good deeds. Have the Lord's Name within and perform your natural duties. Worthy indeed is the one who marches in such a manner to the goal! - Baba
